I am trying to research places in Jaco for an upcoming trip. I have never been there before, so this will be something new for me. I would appreciate any information on the Beatle Bar and any other places where there are working girls...especially bars and massage places. I do not often go to strip clubs. Even better if you have websites....phone numbers....names, numbers , email addresses of guides or people that live there. I like to know the entire layout before going...saves time and money in the long run. Thanks....your info is greatly appreciated !

Edge, what a coincidence, I live just north of you in Ft Myers. I have been to Jaco about 5-6 times. The Beetle Bar is the place for the chicas. Seems they start coming in mostly around 9:00 but there are a few there earlier.

I have even seen a few here and there walking the street when driving and they give you "The Look"

When I have been to Jaco, I have stayed at the Best Western, and the Jaco Fiesta Resort. I will not stay at the Best Western again as it was not Chica Friendly. Jaco Fiesta was so-so. No problems with the Chicas, just a marginal room. I paid $48 per night for a king, breakfast included, refrigerator in room. Casino there is closed.

Next time I go I am going to try the Hotel Cocal as I do like a little casino action when there.

I did go to Disco Central one night (Saturday) and it was around midnight. It was packed and there were all kinds of opportunities. Most wanted $60 for the night.

I ate at the Colonial Restaurant and would rate it great for the food, also good were Tsunami (try the Filet Bowl) and I had a great pizza at the local Pizza Hut.

Good Luck!

The best restaraunt in Jaco is Hiccaco. It is around the corner from Poncho Villas...toward the beach. It is one of the better restaraunts in CR. In Herradura...on the beach...is Juanita's. This is a favorite of locals. Next door to Jaunita's is The Pelican...and I think it sucks. Locals like Jaunitas.

There is only one place for 'pleasure' in Jaco...the Beatle Bar. There are no other whore bars. There isn't a massage parlor or anything like it in Jaco. If it weren't for the Beatle Bar.....there would be nothing in Jaco.

Poncho Villas, the strip bar, is the worst in CR. Club Hollywood, in Jaco, is the BEST....if you are into strip bars. I'm not.

I ate at the Colonial once...and didn't like it. The best breakfast in Jaco for some is.......Subway! French toast is $1.20 or so and the coffee is GOOD! And good coffee is no small miracle in this nation of cold coffee drinkers. There is a restaraunt, called Flores, next to Mas por Menos, which is good for omlets...around $2.00 for a bacon omlet with half a pig in it.

I have lived in Jaco, and do spend time there on weekends. During the week it is a huge bore unless you are a fisherman. It can be pretty hot. Shoot for Friday and Saturday nights.

I have to second the recommendation of El Hicaco in Jaco. I've eaten
there four or five times, and it is, by far, the best restaurant in Jaco.

I second the comments on Hiccaco. There is a good sushi bar in town as well. I can't remember the name at the moment.

I would add a new bar to the list. Filthy McNasty's just opened recently (new construction). I spent quite a bit of time there on the last trip. The girls from The Beatle Bar love going over there. After you pick one from the flock, take the short walk down the street. There were a few working girls there.

I'll be back in Jaco on 2/10 for a week. Hooking up with my Colombiana GFE from last month. Best looking woman I've had in CR and I've had a few.

I'll be staying at the Copacabana hotel for the 1st time. The high season rate for Los Suenos is $300+/night Ouch!
