I have a friend coming down in June for a week. I plan to take him fishing in Barra de Colorado for Tarpon. The cost of the boat and transportation is $500 for 6 hours of fishing. The boat will hold three ($50 extra for a third person) The trip is tentative depending on the weather there. It is an amazing place to visit and fish. Last time there, another CRT member and I had about 16 fish on in two days and landed 6. Two took close to two hours each and were in the 150lbs to 180lbs. range. Just getting there is an adventure through mountains, banana and pineapple plantations to a remote river in the northeast corner of Costa Rica. Barra has no roads. It is only accessible by boat or plane. Anyone interested pm me.
