There is a guy that rides a horse up and down Jaco beach that can set you up with horseback tours and inshore fishing at reasonable prices. Just wave him over when you see him. There are also horses available at the beach in Manuel Antonio.

A short trip back to Tacoles and you can do a horseback trip on the beach and a crocodile tour in the river. I think they will pick you up in Jaco for the croc tour.
