Hi All, Please help me out if you can. I was in San Jose January 2004 and will be returning January 26th 2005. At that time I could play ONSHORE (no Website sign up) at the DR and other places. Is ot true that you cannot put a bet in anywhere in San Jose on sports without signing up to there WEBSITE? I hope its false and you could direct me to a casino that takes sportsbets.

Thanks so my much

Chaser

You can bet all over town as you have previsouly stated using the website books at most of the major sports books..

As far as I know THE ONLY remaining onshore sports book where you can simply walk in and make a wager no accounts of any kind is the 2nd floor at the Morazon Hotel in the Casino.

They have All major sports along with simulcasting from major race tracks accross the US.

Hope that helps.

In September the was a desk upstairs in the Horseshoe sports bar and I believe they were booking bets.

Don't know the details, though.

Is the Sports Book on the second floor of the Colonial still closed? If so,
why?

Last Superbowl Sunday, they closed all sports books for betting action except for the Morazon.. Why only the Morazon remains open I have no Idea.....

Now they are all open again... but with a catch for what the question was. All the sports books now although they take your action right there, you must open an account with them with the internet company. Its semantics but thats how they do it...

You can still Bet at the Morazon normally...
