so i was looking at condos in pattaya and i see alot that seem to have one room, bath and european kitchen for $25k to 60k. are there any condos like that in san jose?? i cannot seem to find any good condo for sale sites for costa rica, that are not like $100k.. any sites you know of??? thanks i am just daydreaming so still 2-4 years away from retiring and just screwing around...

Well, most of the "condo's" in San Jose are luxury places. The tico "condo's" are called "casa's" ;) And actually, in San Jose, condominium has a different meaning, it's those compounds with multiple houses in them, not a high rise.

listings for houses, condos and whatever. My own advice you can ignore at your own risk... rent before you buy. The longer you wait the more money you will save (if nothing else, just from your increasing knowledge)
