FOGO BRAZIL. This place is great for that special girl or a bunch of guys who like carne.
The only bad experience was when I had the sushie and I didn't bother to look at what I was eating .( clams.. I love em but they don't love me).
The new Nica and I both have a love for carne and this place gave satisfaction that surpassed all others.
A little high in price but well worth it.

Also Fogo del Gaucho - an all-you-can-eat Brazilian restaurant in Escazu where they walk around shaving off 12 different types of meats and a Salad Bar!! They're normally 11,900
colones...

Too expensive for "shaved" meats and a salad, although the salad bar is good. I heard it was owned by a guy from Thailand.

+1

(I brought in some USDA PRIME (dry aged method) steaks one trip. A LOT. Told ("declared") the guy ahead of time he could have 1/2 of what I was bringing in if he'd give me a pass. Worked just fine. 8) ).
