Hi All,

I'm going to be making my first ever mongering trip to CR Jan 18-22. The way I see it, what better way is there to celebrate MLK weekend than by spreading some love haha. I'm in my mid-20s and have never done anything like this before, so I'm looking forward to meeting any experienced mongers out there willing to impart some wisdom for this noob. I'm planning on staying at the Sportsmens to help me get adjusted quickly. Any suggestions on rooms? I'd prefer something not close to the noise...

Thank you all. I've been a long time lurker on these forums, and really appreciate all of your stories and advice!

Look on their website for rooms in the clubhouse, modern, or mansion wings. Those are all away from the bar. Those are in the basic description when you put your dates in.

Yeah, I saw the room descriptions mention the wings, but wasn't too sure how close they were in relation to the bar. Awesome, will check those rooms out. Thanks!

The floorplan link will help you find where the rooms are located.

The clubhouse rooms are a good value and usually very quiet. My favorite is "Pura Vida" has two nice beds. One to play and one to sleep.

Good luck on your maiden trip. The staff at the SL are extremely helpful and the owner Bill is a great guy. Manfred is the manager very helpful and knowledgeable.

Enjoy!!

Nothing wrong with SL but Taormina is great and you can pick up ladies there or at the SL
Taormina rooms are very american like..i.e very big and very quiet:)
But SL atmosphere is very nice..and the bartenders and manager are angels:)

Thank you guys for all of your help. That floorplan was a really useful tool. I booked the "Amante" at the SL for my stay. Looks like it was just what I was wanted. Looking forward to it!

I may be there myself around that time but I have been once before and I had a great time at SL. I'm thinking about Tamiroa or amistad.
