I have been to Costa Rica twice and stayed at the Sportsmans lodge and have taken day trips to the Tabicon volcanic springs. I was thinking of taking a cab or transportation service out to the Tabicon resort and staying a night or 2. Do you think they are guest friendly? It does not look like a place where you can pick up working girls but maybe you could take one with you from the sportsmens.

I really enjoyed the springs but the day trip does not give you enough time there as you stop at many other tourist places along the way.

In my experience, if a girl can dress normally and act normally then you can register with her and everything is just as it is when someone checks in with their girlfriend.

The question is the girl (and you - it takes two to tango). Some random chick from the SL (or where ever)?

I've stayed at numerous places with mi novia where I've registered her at check in - and despite her being a notorious international criminal hunted by the OIJ* - no issues. She just acts like she does in her vida normal (like a college student).

Do we get looks? Sure. She's a hot 20-something who dresses punk and she's with a old gringo. It's also obvious that we have a relationship.

But if you get into a major fight with an angry chica at 0200, expect to be on the street.

*this is sarcasm.
