Air Canada's Covid Insurance covers the bases required in Costa Rica it would appear - it specifically is for Covid hospitalization as well as lodging in the case of a traveler having to quarantine.

Does anyone know if CR accepts it as sufficient. I think they developed it with Costa Rica's rules specifically in mind.

It is included in the ticket price, and covers Canadians and Canadian legal residents flying from Canada directly to and from, and provides coverage for 21 days.

I figured it was only a matter of time before the major airlines began coordinating with the authorities in the countries they are flying to. Seems like a good business move for all involved.
