Does anybody have a link to this form? Is this “contact tracing” for pre-arrival to Costa Rica or pre/post departure from Costa Rica?

I'm assuming it's for CR. Anyone coming in to the country is a risk, especially from the US, and they will want to know who you have been in contact with if you happen to come down with Covid after arrival. That's how most countries are setting it up. Many require you to use a tracking app so that the follow up can happen very quickly if needed. Doubt that CR will do that, but they probably should if they are opening up to countries that still have active and new cases.

If like myself then a lot of budget mongers should be in really good shape since yeah we could go into a strip club in the U.S. and blow $50 for 6 minutes of private dancing room or know what incredible value it has in CR and CO and just continue living in self isolation until then. :D :D :D

I add that even before this 100 yr. (once in every 100 years) pandemic I pretty much lived in self isolation strip club/P4P wise here in the U.S. so it would not bankrupt me or get me a law charge.

Lately considering S.A. or S.B. web-sites here in U.S. more but still know the rates I really cannot afford on my salary. So if a silver lining it preserves my health for entry into CR or CO! :D :D :D

Separate note this Ellie Goulding track seemed just like yesterday, live goes by quick.

On first take, at least, it doesn't look like it is that different than other immigration forms I've filled out in the past.

Mongers, sex tourists, whatever term you like or don't like - are not wanted in a general sense. I think the only reason it has been tolerated is that there is an economic dependence - there is no real safety net, ie. government social programs - for single mothers - and the government knows it. But if we are allowed back you can be pretty sure it is viewed as a necessary evil, not as something welcomed by the general public in Costa Rica.

Spirit Airlines just canceled all of their flights flights to Costa Rica until July 16th. And of course just because they are selling tickets doesn't mean they will fly then. Nice way for them to pull in money and issue travel vouchers.

And...

"No visas: No tourist visas will be granted before July 18th, 2020."

Well, here's some positive - or at least optimistic - news: A possible widely-available vaccine by September

Hope so. Cases now raging in several states but cannot shut economy down again or collapse us.

On a positive note Capt. Solo from ISG TJ thread at least got to go to HK for one night before all Zona Norte got shut down again. :)

119 new cases here today, which is the most for a single day by far. Minister of Health announced a halt to the next step in the reopening schedule and they are shutting down vehicular traffic for the weekend (with some exceptions). If Sportsmen's can still open as a hotel/restaurant they may be able to keep the July 1 date I saw on here somewhere (if they qualify as a bar it's something else entirely). The rules here are complicated as hell and differ between weekday and weekend. And it's been confirmed borders won't open June 30, which is no surprise. I still think it will be August as a best-case and quite possibly after that. I guess there's worse places to be locked down, but it still sucks.

Agreed, still fewer cases here than Florida (my one time home). However, I am hearing a bit more concern from some of the chicas. I had one cancel on me today (from Desamparados) because her mom would not let her go out of the house. I was able to get a last minute substitute from Tibas.

https://ticotimes.net/2020/06/19/costa- ... ases-spike
"The cantons of Alajuelita and Desamparados have been placed under an orange alert due to an increase in cases. They are the first cantons in the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM) to be placed under an orange alert due to the coronavirus."

These are areas where a number of providers live. If this marks the beginning of "community transmission", expect a strong government response.
