Guys;
VB and Gambling Man are so right. Today was a chamber of commerce day in SJ - Am watching the sunset now from my balcon window. Gorgeous!
Started with breakfast at spoon, then my buddy and I went out to Sabana Este to check on my new condo - the views looked especially nice on this bright and mostly cloudless morning. We then took a ride out to Escazu and Santa Ana to check out the views from way high. Then lunch at the patio resturant at Hotel Amon where I ran into Admin 1 and 2 having lunch with thier novias. Everyone was very happy and muy contentado enjoying the outside lunch. Afterward, we adjourned to the casino and after heavy losses, my bud and I walked the short walk up to Zona Blue where he enjoyed Tiffany and my favorita was the ever cute Lorena. She took away ALL the tension.
Just dropped the buddy off and am now getting ready for dinner at a nice German club I rencently discovered.
What a great day! Pura Vida!
LVSteve

Wow you guys are really making it rough, like King Costa I am watching the snow fall.
If it wasn't for the entertainment of watching the neighbor's wife trying to get out their drive way I would really be bored.

I have to suffer for 18 more days before I can get back to CR.

Hola Vegas Bob,

I too did suffer through the coldest weeks in 30+ years in Costa Rica, finally decided last week not to prolong my 4 week stay there and return home to Isla Santa Cruz to warm up a bit
BUT it is a bit chilly here too--- new record low of 68 deg F last nite, had to turn off my ceiling fans and close most windows, and put on a T shirt to keep warm    Then it warmed up to a sunny, clear 78 F for some sunbathing at poolside in the afternoon :D But did have to turn up the outdoor Jaccuzzi a bit more to enjoy a frolic with an old local favorita under a perfectly clear sky, all stars out even with almost full moon

Got to get my CR wives over here to REALLy enjoy the ultimate "TRANQILo" :)
It is going to be hard to watch the NFL playoffs Sunday in Blizzard conditions. My choice Pitt Steelers for a matchup with Philly Eagles in Superbowl :P
Cygnus

Cygnus you Old Coot I hope you shrivel up like a prune in that Jaccuzzi of yours :D

Seattle weather not freezing like a week ago, but is cold still and raining till every damn river is ready to bust out. And the women Are Just Phucking Frigid.

Osgood do you have to work next week? Maybe I will drop by and check out your Dolly Birds on this South Beach and help you stain your deck.

I am going to have a miserable time clocking off: 2 weeks 1 day 14 hours to San Jose.

You poor bastards in the MidWest and EastCoast: I think we should start a Zona Blue Hypothermia Fund to thaw your sorry asses out.

Phuck this – this time I ain’t coming back here till Spring

We are getting hit now. 2 inches an hour, up to 10 inches now. This really stinks! Suppose to get winds of 35-50 mph. Counting the days until I get off the airplane in CR. :D
