Hello - I’ll be heading to CR for the first time in Feb. I plan on spending a couple of days in San Jose, then renting a car and driving to Tamarindo. Any suggestions on the drive and where to stay in Tamarindo?

I went to Tamarindo last spring, 2023. My very first trip to this area. I stayed at the Westin very nice hotel, but not real party friendly. The drive is about five hours and the roads for the most part are pretty good. I ended up taking a chica with me which I do recommend as P4P will be difficult to find.
