What word or idiom do you use to say "close" in Spanish as in, "We are a close family" or "They have a close relationship?"...intermediano doesn't feel right to me...and I'm thinking there must be a standard way to say this.

And come to think of it, does "relacion" roughly translate "relationship"--or are there better ways to say that too?

Try intimo or allegado for "close" and, yes, relacion means relationship. It can also mean "relations," as in having relations (sex) with.

Or maybe use "unido"? as in:
Una familia muy unida.

I need some help translating a couple of sentences. How would you say "Beware I snore really loud"? Also how would you say "Don't charge me tourist prices, what would you charge a local for this"?

Thanks in advance!

Disculpa que yo ronque tan fuerte (sunjunctive, tricky, and not sure of roncar es Ronce or Ronque in subjunctive, and too lazy right not to look it up.

Speaking of Spanish... how do you pronounce Más X Menos ? That's a Walmart outlet isn't it? Near the HDR. I had a hell of a time trying to ask a cab driver to take me there once last year, lol.
