Last time I was at SL I saw a bunch of bottles with people’s names on them at The bar. Can you buy a bottle and just have them keep it there for you? Seems like that may be cost effective for a trip...

You buy the bottle from them. The price is reasonable. Just pay for mixers as they are served (and tip the bartenders).
It is pretty cost effective if you drink it yourself. Now if you share it with the many women hovering around the bar, you might end up on the short end.

Don't try to bring them a bottle from the duty free or the liquor store.

I always brought bottles from duty free and left them there

I don’t want to extend my welcome. Would rather just know the answer.

Thanks. Emailed them. Bottle of Captain is $37 or so at the bar (very reasonable). You can bring your own bottle but uncorking fee is $40.

Hopes this helps someone in the future!
