That particular block is a ghost town. Dunn Inn closed. Taormina closed. The restaurant on the corner, Gattoparado, closed. A couple of weeks ago I saw them taking kitchen fixtures out of there.

Hotel Abajo del Puente, Amon is still open and has a recent vacancy. Gourmet lunch and dinner featuring its world famous "Sopa de Paloma". They have even have brought in a local caterer for breakfast.

Hotel Abajo del Puente, budget friendly, never a chica fee, and sometimes running water.
(a Boynton property)

Careful eating at Boynton's restaurant. Last week a customer choked to death there. Seems it is hard to swallow with your throat cut. (Below the bridge is a vacant lot across from our apartments where street people go to shoot up. There was a murder there the other day. Suspect was one of the street people that I have given food to. He was arrested yesterday.)

Hotel Abajo del Puente.
