I heard LA is closed for remodeling.. Anyone got info?

I'm curious too. Sure could use a remodel. Would be good to know before I plan stay #9. Love the small fraternity atmosphere and great crew that works there!

It's more fun to inquire through the board calling is cheating. LA is home away from home I've stayed many times throughout the years. I have a friend down there and he told me. It's closed with a sign saying "closed for remodeling". I'm thinking he's messing with me since I'm coming down soon.. Oh Boynton I sent the cash let me know when you get it

They did close LA down over the Xmas holidays and kept the Castillo open. Last year they closed Castillo and kept LA open. Not enough business at that time of the year to justify keeping them both open and it allows half the staff to take much needed vacations.

I am pretty sure LA will open up before Superbowl weekend and its probably sold out already.

Just spent last week there & it was definitely open with business as usual. Ruth, Rudy, Leo, Helen, Darren & the rest of the gang took care of me in their usual excellent fashion. As did 11 chicas I invited to my room for a visit. :D

Just stayed a week left Thursday.
Have not been in so in 6 months.
Carol and Ruth both remembered my drink preferences and how I killed my entrees.
