Spanky, 911, LAdiablo, This is real easy to fix. If you don't like Bill or the Sportsman's, don't go there. If you feel he is stealing from ya, don't go there. If ya feel the bartenders are stealing from ya, don't go there. Why would you continue to go there if everything your claiming is true? I'm confused. Why would Bill ruin his reputation for a couple of bucks extra profit "scamming". Reputation is EVERYTHING in the hospitality business. Bill is not stupid and I don't believe he would shoot himself in the foot like this. I smell agenda. |

We are determined to take Bill down!!!! He doesn't smile or wave back, has a beard, and wears shorts. Things that LA Diablo, 911 Driver, and myself don't ever do. We always smile and wave, we never wear shorts, and shave daily to avoid beards. Our staff will be the bestest (we will poach from the SL as tradition of opening new bars/hotels demands) and there will be no double charging only charges and a half. We will only let in perfect 10's for your enjoyment and we cap the costs they can demand from customers at a reasonable $60 because we all know 10's don't deserve more and we care about our customers. It's going to be sweet. The hotel will be called The Sportsman Lodge (http://www.sportsmancr.com) and the name of the bar will be Sarcasm. We are investing tens of dollars into our marketing as well. Once we steal a few credit card numbers we will then contact Admin about doing some advertising on the site and offer a 50% discount on all drinks (see how we avoid the double charge and only 1.5 charge you!). Keep watching this spot for our grand opening announcement! Remember, for all your needs in San Jose, The Sportsman Lodge and Sarcasm Bar! PS - We are bringing BKTuna back as well to manage! |

Agreed, when you are talking about CC scam rumors there is no joking. I havenever met Bill but did enjoy myself at the bar a couple of times when I was down and am planning on visiting down there again in March. Now if you say Bill has the bartenders dose up the drinks with viagra to makes the girls look better then that would be much funnier. |

I myself have no problem with sarcasm. and the problem w people making threads that Bill is ripping them off by double charging credit cards is that they might think THIS also has some validity. its absurd and insulting to anyone who has even a passing experience inside the establishment. an accidental issue might occur and can be easily resolved without the insinuation there was an intentional theft. |

Have you spoken to bill regarding this? I can't imagine in any way shape or form this was intentional on the part of the S.L. Billing errors happen all the time from The Ritz Carlton - to the Motel 6 before you start calling it a "SCAM" I"d suggest you speak to the principles then report back. Otherwise I suggest that nothing further be added here. |
