Last time I was in town I had a long conversation with Diego. Have no doubt they do not want our type of customer anymore. If things change because of the lock down it will be only temporary, trust me. Ron never wanted our business but was willing to tolerate us until he got things up and running.

We will know by the chica fee. If it's only $15 that means they are OK with our business, they just don't want it to be too much. If they really don't want us at all, they will put the chica fee at $100 like some hotels have done.

$15 is doable, $100 would not be, lets hope it doesn’t come to that. Even the Holiday Inn would be cheaper with their $70 chica fee. Frankly, right now any hotel should be grateful for business.

Heard it will open. Not sure of the date. A few days ago I walked by, and it was deserted. The restaurant next door has been vacated for a while as I saw them taking fixtures out awhile back. Just the other day one of my puta friends said the girls like it since the cien boys pay more than the Ticos and are not afraid to buy drinks.

Any news on Gattopardo, the ajoining Italian restaurant? Thanks.

They posted on their Facebook page yesterday afternoon saying they will open November 2. FYI-Tournant Restaurante is also open. Full info on their FB.

Also, unfortunately the muffer-less motorbikes and random car alarms are back

Thanks for the info, too bad the noise is back though. How else would the chicas get dropped off for their shift at the mps by their shiftless tico boyfriends on motorbikes.

Had lunch at Tournant. Cream of vegetable soup with bacages (turrialba white) cheese, Fish (looked like swordfish) in a chile veloute (spicy white) glaze with stir fry vegetables (with Peruvian aji chile and garlic), Strawberry crepes with Chantilly cream. Pineapple/Orange fresco to drink. c5500 ($9) all in (including tax and tip). Nothing from a can or jar. Waddled back to my apartment for fresh roasted coffee & Bailey's.

Have a "date" coming at 3:00, with Boynton cumming at 4:00 and hopefully 5:00. Its a tough life, but somebody has to live it.

Today was the day they announce a full reopening of hotel, bar, and restaurant. I passed by in an Uber at 12:10 The lobby door was open, but it was dark inside. Some dude was just getting out of a car with luggage. The restaurant was still shuttered and dark inside.

I have a chica visiting from 3:00 unto 6:00 and I'll look again then.
