Not necessarily a big patron of Z2... but tell me one other MP that would allow you to bring in a chica from the outside. Now I realize that Z2 is a bit unique being both a hotel and a MP...but thinking of the girls that work there ... The girls are independent...but agree to the pricing and to work regular shifts (more or less) in exchange for the convenience, safety, anonymity, access to customers of the establishment, and much better working hours for those with Ch*ldren Overall I would have a small fee for outside talent as well...keeps the girls a bit happier perhaps. That's worth something.

I pay for my room, and I have no problem paying for 2 people in the room, but I refuse to pay extra for bringing chicas to my room. For me it has nothing to be with being cheap, it is about controling what my expenses are up front. I would not rent a car from a company that told me I could only have X amount of passengers or I had to pay extra. If you are not making it and cannot cover your costs, then raise your rates. I am not going to be nickel and dimed and be happy. This is not just in CR either. I will not be going back to Vegas for the same reason. They want to charge you to park so you can go spend time in their casino along with spending money eating and drinking, I don't think so. Normally I woud buy food, drinks and gamble but because of a stupid 10.00 parking fee, I did what I needed to do and left their Hotel Casino and added it to my list of places to avoid. Put it in my room rate, and dont tell me about it, and I'm fine. Charge a resort fee, parking fee, wifi fee, chica fee, or whatever fee, then you can kiss my dollars goodbye.

Good point.

And this right here is the real reason for the $10 chica fee.

You're the owner of Z2.

You rent rooms to mongers and you have chicas onsite.

The onsite chicas complain when they see mongers bringing in outside girls and, in doing so, taking away money from the onsite chicas' purses.

You decide to discourage mongers from bringing in outside girls by imposing what you call a "towel/water/electricity" fee to avoid the dreaded "chica fee" moniker.

Immediately either less outside chicas come in resulting in less complaints from your onsite girls, or you make money every time an outside chica comes in.

Problem solved (except now mongers stop staying at your hotel).

Personally I have never understood how the places that have girls working on site do not get shut down. The Sportsman and Del Rey are the only 2, in my mind, that would be operating within the grey area of the law. They do control who comes and goes but other than that they do not get in the middle of things. By telling a girl she needs to be there at a certain time, certain days, dress a certain way, follow rules, etc. you now have an employer/employee relationship. If your business has to pay off certain people to keep the doors open and not get hassled, maybe you need to take a closer look at your business model. As for Zona2 in particular they are in a very tough spot. They need to keep the girls happy, as the place is not strong enough to make it on the 4 rooms, and the bar might as well be a ghost town the majority of the time. If you want to stay in business you need traffic, and that just does not seem to be generated sufficiently by average looking girls that are available there. Going back to the old Little Havana days the combination of a bar/kitchen/girls/rooms was a very workable model. Now that they had to split the building things are much more difficult to make it profitable. I hope that the owners do not lose a big chunk of change on their investment but I can see the writing on the wall for a struggling business. I really have no reason to go there again and it will be off my list of places to take my friends when they visit.

Agree. Not a wise move to piss off your customer with petty fees, whether they are justified or not. Find another way to generate revenue that the customer will willingly pay for.

I personally like Z2. maybe it's the bartenders. But, the girls are also friendly. If you stay at HDR they charge you a fee to take a girl to your room. Why is that different from Z2 charging a fee? In fact, Z2 does not charge a fee if the girl is actually working out of Z2. I am amaze at the amount of time and energy that is spent over the difference $5-10 on this board.

During the time the 'independents' are on-site at Z2 it makes sense. But the chicas go home at 9 (the last ones).

It will be our pleasure to acomodate you at Zona II. You can bring as many girls as you wish from the outside for a $10 fee each. Regarding the room, they are all very comfortable and private, and the bathroom is also top notch, however there's one per suite.

Ok I am really confused. The first post says you have a $10 fee, the second post says you have never charged a fee.

Dangerman.......

On April 29, a guy asked if he can bring girls into Zona and if there was a fee to bring in a girl. I think he was asking about bringing in outside girls for things other than simply a drink and conversation at the bar.

On May 1, you said girls can be brought in from the outside for a fee of $10 each, as many as we like.

Today, you say that Zona hotel guests don't pay a fee to bring a girl in from the outside.

Am I to ASSUME that, with all of the posts in this thread, that you wanted us to understand that there is a $10 chica fee ONLY if we bring in a girl from the outside to use your SHORT TERM rooms when we are NOT OVERNIGHT guests in your hotel rooms :?: :?:

Your two replies here seem inconsistent. Please clear this up because it is a hot-button issue for some of us, as you can see from the prior posts. It is important to all of us for Zona to remain a popular venue ........ and I, for one, hope it does.

He said if you are not a guest of the hotel. What do you expect for free?
