Darren suggested a menu from around the world. Every page a different country with the best from each country?? with the last page bar food. yes or no

Cool idea! Do everyone a favor though and skip India.

Curry and bcd fun don't mix.

I dont come to costa rica for the fancy food and drinks, i can get that in the states, in fact i dont really drink that much. I used to stay at the castillo when i first started coming here 5 yrs ago. I liked the castillo because it felt like i was staying at my house, you could smoke at the ouside bar, everyone knew each other and was friendly etc etc, i wouldnt stay there if it was all inclusive because i dont drink that much and i like to go to different places to eat. Anyway i would recommend basic bar food and local costa rican food as well as a latenight menu at a good price. Trying to make the place to fancy and upscale would drive most people away.

Darrin's idea sounds great. Personally though, I am OD'd on Tex-mex food. I have had enough to last me for the rest of my life.

If they run it like LA guests could opt out of the all inclusive part and get a slightly lower room rate.

Yes, unless I am mistaken there is a 25% discount without the all-inclusive for CRT members, on the rooms alone without the all inclusive rate, depends on the number of days.

Asia fusion/sushi, well me & none of my wingmen would ever eat there. I think there's a very small market out there for that. I would lean towards Italian, esp. Pizza cuz there's not anywhere to get a good pizza in or near the gulch. The 1 good place, Bar Morazán that had good pizza, closed down then reopened without the good pizza. Hell, you could prob do a good takeout/delivery biz to all the mongers holed up in area hotels who just wanna stay inside their rooms with their dates.

Maybe continents not countries. North America (which includes Mexico), Central & South America, Europe, Asia (maybe some Mediterranean / North Africa). A few (1-3) representative dishes.

Not some 130+ pages. South Sudanese food sucks.

I'm still coming no matter what is on the menu. I can eat just about anything. Looking forward to staying in one of the top 3 rooms with a view.

Sweet baby Jezus half you guys seem to enjoy dining at the Coronary Cafe. I hope that's just the, "phuck it I'm on vacay" dining plan.

I personally can't eat that heavy and enjoy doing what I want to do, wink wink.

But Matt, if that's the target market so be it... here's my brainstorm. Get a couple of those auto defibulator things.

Bacon

Meatball Sub

Country Fried Steak n Gravy

Bacon

Fish n Chips

Beer Battered Deep Fried Mac n Cheese

Bacon

Pulled Pork Sliders

Jagerschnitzel w Bacon Mushroom Gravy

Chicken a la King w Bacon Dumplings

Meatloaf & Steak Frites

Bacon

Once Baked, Twice Fried Potatoes

German Potato Salad

Gyros

Deep Fried Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza on a Stick

SPAM n Bacon Omlettés

Double stuffed, double chocolate fried oreos

Candied Habanero Bacon Bites

Molten Chocolate Turrialba Cake

Bien Provecho!

Now that you mention it... ugh I did.

I prefer Ho Hos though.

And I'll pass completely on Sno Balls, not interested in those.
