Castillo Hotel is pleased to announce that for the month of June, CRT VIP Members will receive a 35 percent discount at the all new Castillo Hotel. Also, CRT VIP Members can book the Amistad Hotel at 35 percent off regular rates, or 10 percent off all-inclusive rates.

Availability is for a limited time and the Castillo and Amistad Hotels are offering this extra discount exclusively for CRT VIP members.

Take 35 Percent Off! Plus Free Airport Drop Off*
for Stays between June 1st - 30th

Castillo Rate Plan Q1/Q2 for 2017
King Rooms $99+tax
Queen Rooms $89+tax
Also, available
Three Penthouses with private rooftop decks, views of downtown San Jose and the surrounding mountains - $169+tax
King room with balcony overlooking zoo - $129+tax
King suite - $119+tax

Rates also include free breakfast and airport drop off

To calculate final rate, reduce the above rates by 35 percent. For example, a queen room would be just $57.85 per night, plus tax subject to stated restrictions.

Although the bar and restaurant at the Castillo is not open yet hotel guests enjoy a free hot breakfast, served in the dining room. At the nearby Amistad Hotel, guests of the Castillo will also receive a 15 percent discount in the bar and restaurant. *A free transfer to the airport is also provided to guests who stay a minimum of 3 nights (free on departure only).

This is a limited time, special offer for CRT VIP Members for stays between June 1st - June 30th at the Castillo and Amistad Hotels. The 35 percent discount may not be combined with any other discount or offer. Free airport transfer is departure only, and requires a minimum 3 night stay. Upon Arrival, VIP Members must present a valid, unexpired CRT VIP Membership Card at the time of check-in. Please make your reservation by calling 877-260-3027 or by email at info@hotelamistad.com and request the CRT VIP discount for the Castillo.

Be careful, I was there recently and it was not until after I looked at my credit card statement, there was an additional $75. charge beyond the amount on the receipt they gave me. I called Rudy and he said it was a 6% charge, not 2%. If I stay there again I will pay cash.

You are right it is 6 percent for credit card. 2 percent is a typo. Cash rate is always better because merchants get hammered in Costa Rica for Credit Card fees.

Sorry for the confusion
