I'm going to be moving back to CR one of these days, and I'd like some advice on the cheapest way to have a phone that I can get text messages on for all my U.S.-based accounts with two-factor authentication. I've lived there in the past and had a google number and everything was cheap and great. But in the past few years I've started having accounts that require getting texts to login. I currently have a Google Fi account, and I'd like to keep it and have everything on one phone--but it looks like International calls go way up and I'm not sure if I can switch that account so as to get and make local CR calls at local rates. Anyway if anybody has worked this out or has thoughts I'd be interested in hearing what you have to say. I'll dig a little deeper into what Fi does and doesn't offer and will post anything interesting. Saludos cordiales... |
