I have to send a mere letter to social security, the most advanced country in the world doesn't let you do some things via email or internet.

I went to FEDEX on Paseo Colon it has to be monitored and tracked, no rush, it could take a week. FEDEX wants $65!!!

Does anyone know a cheaper option? it has to be in the San Jose, Sabana, Escazu, San Pedro areas, anywhere near downtown.

If I can't find an alternative, I'll bite the bullet and skip a poontang session this month, lol.

Or keep the poontang session and eat beans n rice n eggs for a week...

Did you try EMS at the main post office? I sent a 3 or 4 lb box to the states and it cost less than that. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Trackable, fast. I think an envelope to US should be about $24.00. This leaves you a little extra for some May poon...

Thanks, I'll have to see if they have a location near San Jose, if I have to travel to Rohrmoser or Escazu, I'll try something else or bite the bullet.

Good news, there's one off Paseo Colon, bad news, the slithering snakes want over $80...I checked their website. I'll check out Whitecat's suggestion, if I find myself dealing with normal mismanaged, confusing risky Tico nonsense, off to Fedex I go... :x

Beans 'n rice for 3 days, the yellow Mexican rice with red beans, mushrooms, peas and corn fills you up and plenty of protein and vegetables, don't want to cut out a poontang appointment this month, lol.

Can't help you there, but I know where you can get an "ORIGINAL English certificate without writing any"

Not sure what kind of letter you might be sending, but have you tried the Federal Benefits Unit at the US Embassy in Pavas? They can do most things.

Thanks, I checked them out, won't work, need a "wet" signature sent to them. :?
