I'm almost wondering if any CRTer's actually made an appearance in it. I mean, why not.

But it was pretty good - Chris is a divorced 49yo who made the switch to costa rican women, and documentary includes interviews by expats both, and by 4 or 5 cute ticas who talk about the pro's and cons of their lifestyle.

Yeah, it was a little awkward the way he tried to integrate an actual script where there was acting. Made it look porn-ish.
But it was interesting to see the interviews of both men and the Ticas. As well as seeing inside Hotel Castillo.

Alberto passed away this past year so I would imagine this film is at least 7 years old. The bar at the Castillo has not been open since then.

Exactly.. not sure what was meant by that. Don't think that's quite a reality.

I had to go to YouTube to find it. While I won’t get that hour back I can’t tell you when the last time I laughed so hard was. Has anyone ever met Canadian Bob? Big Mike? Alberto? Marty? Rico? Maybe Chris himself? Pretty sure the video is at least ten years old though.

For sure it is old. Alberto (RIP) looks to be much younger than when I first met him...which was probably 8 years ago.
