Why do you guys have to be so nasty to him? An informative Post listing some non-obvious jobs for the younger among us. He wasn't selling anything or flexing his ego so why the abuse? Before you start on me, I was 6 years in the Marines, including 2 years in the 'Nam.

It is only because that is his first post and probably his only post. If he becomes a regular on the board or even visits Costa Rica and has any fun in the gulch I would be happy to buy him a drink. Personally I doubt if he will return to the forum with anything related to our hobby.

This guy is a troll trying to get someone to bite on his BS. If you go back and read posts from me you will see that I am not nasty to people. In fact, this may be the first time I posted anything negative. If I offended you, I am sorry. However, I stand by my post.

My ego talking here, but I believe my BS-meter is finely tuned and I don't get that from the OP's post. An informative listing of wandering professions, of various skill/academic levels, presented in a humorous but not smart-alecky way that may be a life changer for a Bro here, and sort-of amusing to the rest of us? I'm not trying to make an issue of this but a bit of flexibility and consideration is warranted. My last Post on this.

Time will tell what if anything this newbie posts. I for one have seen many troll posts not just here but on other boards as well, and I concur with El-Senor-Jefe that this guy turns out to be a one and done addition to the board. I would love to be proved wrong and will by this person a drink at any of the local watering holes if he turns out to be a true brother.

I work offshore on an oil and gas rig overseas on a 28/28 schedule. Pretty awesome job for traveling.
