Yes, always pay after. I have only had 1 good experience (over 4 visits to CR and paying first 5 times) when I paid first. The chica's incentive goes away the moment the dinero is in hand, and the power balance shifts.

We must remember that negotiation is a balance of power/energy. When we feel the energy is working against us, we cannot be timid about walking away from the situation with minimal damage done. There will always be another girl around the corner hotter than the last one. Pura Vida!
