I am not surprised about the puppy treatment working well. These Latinas are intelligent enough as far as IQ but they tend to be lazy & unsophisticated. Look at their surroundings most are simple with simple family around them. They are not as complicated or as sophisticated as many Gringas. This can be a double edge sword depending on how they use it.

Many Gringos may prefer the Latinas simplicity since some gringas have driven them crazy by their complexities . The nice thing about dealing with puppies in CR is you really don’t have to take them too serious since there are plenty of replacements readily available. It is so easy to find a NEXT one if needed & this is something they do understand well .

The truth is, this is really common sense, and being consistent and more importantly setting the tone early is shockingly effective, and even more so with latinas. It definitely works with gringas, but as said before, they are more sophisticated so it gets complicated and you have to really keep at it.

Unfortunately, I know this, because I'm very good at it... but it's because I learned the very hard way. It doesn't really come natural to me, it's a learned behaviour. It's a shame almost, but then again, it's nature, so I adapted slowly.
