kinda suprising you missed my main suggestion to solve your problem regarding complaining of the stupidity of overpaying gringos in CR but then again not really....

My main point was if you don't like the atmosphere of some of the overpaying gringos in CR move on to where they are not and solve your problem....and most likely get more bang for your buck and increase the quality of the chica you are with...

To help you out of the box a bit, no offense, the thinking here is to burn a few calories and "find the diamonds in the rough" for not very much....not just nail the nastiest hooker in the cheapest place you find.

No offense to you or your friend, but it seems you and your amigo who believe "These guys are just too lazy to jerk off " are the ones who are too lazy to go out and try new places and see what else is out there instead of just complaining about how stupid and lazy others who do so are...

In terms of the "blue light specials" you seem to be above, you could easily head down to Colombia and have all the $15-20 sweet colombianas that you could imagine if you visited there and then even get some action for free all day long if they like you and want you to hang with them....alot of these girls could go hang out in the del rey and command top dollar just for being the sweet colombianas they are, and maybe change into a hardened del rey colombiana vulture after they saw how easy the pickings could be...

But then who could blame them?

Its interesting you mention the laziness and stupidity of the gringo and your affintiy for colombianas and yet you stay in CR and I Imangine pay top dollar for your colombiana in Costa Rica......why not just go to the source and get a whole lot more for a whole lot less?????

Isn't there anyone besides me that think the stupid gringos add to the entertainment value of the place? I just love seeing one of those vampires go in for the kill on their unsuspecting prey. Lot of times you can get a good price on some these chicks after they have feasted on easy prey like that. I pulled a hot Columbian for $50 recently under circumstances like that.

I was at the Rey last night. The place was swarming with chicks. It was a buyers market. I pulled one for $50 for 90 minutes. Nice sweet thing that just started a month ago. NICE!!!

If that is Phucked up, I want to get phucked everyday. Hey, now that you mention it ......... ..... I think I might have to head down there again tonight!!!!!

One other thought. Some of you that only come in for CRT weekends might be getting a distorted picture. It is a market and it is supply and demand. When all you guys show up all at once, it upsets the market equalibrium....... I think that has a bigger impact than the hand full of idiots that trickle through there.

To me it's irrelavant. Gringos or anyone for that matter won't change the way I hook up or what I pay so it makes no difference to me at all.

It can be Kcc incessantly telling us about his $50 chicks or the guy that pays 3 hundo for an hour. But it does get amusing seeing some things or overhearing the girls talk about it.

I think you nailed it! That's the same way I feel. I really don't give a sh*t what other gringo's do, or how they do it. I play MY game, and am happy with the results.

But I also agree with KcCostarica, as I also love to sit at the BM some days, and just watch some of the gringo's drool & slobber over all the fresh meat. It's a lot of fun watching the chica's "hone in on them" - like a bald eagle on a salmon!

Finally a discussion here that makes some sense Cujo as MG said, you nailed it.
This past trip while slurrping my 5 cappucinos in the DR, I had 4 chicas approach me and say to me 'why jew don't eber take girl, jew cheap'. I took it as a compliment and proceeded to the KL for my Dominicana, TLN @$80 tip included not a ten in most people's guide but for 3 ten second intervals over 7 hrs she was a 10

We can discuss all we want about the overpaying guys that frequent SJ, hopefully this forum educates many to refrain from the cien per hour but many(hopefully non CRT) haven't a clue and are like fish in a barrel for these girls. Every once in a while I like to watch an eagle swoop down and pluck a salmon. Best part is when the eagle is back in the sky within 45 minutes circling again

I guess I will respond to your your post, as it was directed specifically toward your twisted perception of me. First of all, I do not remember saying that I had an affinity toward colombianas--altho I did say I have had a 2+ year arrangement with one, I can't imagine why you went off on your colombiana tangent. My preferred choice of panocha is actually dominicanas. Outside of considering Cartegena, I really have no desire to go to Colombia, as Costa Rica provides a nice balance of choices for me. Your skewered assumption that I have only traveled within the box is also somewhat incorrect, -- I have been to the Dominican Republic, Panama, and Nicaragua in the last few years and throughout Europe, previously, albeit no where near approaching the 25 trips to CR. Perhaps, I am not as lazy as your perception of me--but, I really could care less. Again, I have to question your overactive imagination that I am overpaying for my colombiana( who I know is a cien/hora chica)--if $100 per day, hitting it 3/4 times per day is overpaying, then I guess I am guilty.
In the future, maybe you could direct your " expert opinion " (?) toward someone that could, possibly, benefit from it more than I have--
and save your fingers as well

not to ruin your moment of perceived grandeur, but just relax, you aren't ruining anybody's CR experience. This has just been an observation on my part, no need to go overboard with some feeling of power/ responsibility.
I am usually only in the gulch, on any given trip, for a day, or two at the most, before I head out and see the rest of CR. The gulch scene is a miniscule part of my CR experience

It's all good.

Hopefully if you are in town New Year's we can have a drink and laugh a bit.

There are new and fresh girls that walk into the Del Rey almost every single day. Usually Wednesday Thur, and Friday ,between 4 and 8 pm. You can sit at the reception bar and watch for the ones that seem a little lost when they walk in. They don't immediately pull out there ID. The security guy has to ask them for it. I cant tell you how many I pulled out of there. Not just to save money but to have a fresh attitude.
