Location: CANADA Eh!
On my trip of March 20/2017 I stopped by the Castillo and had a tour of the rooms. Very impressive with the renovations but things are still under construction. Matt/Darren are doing an excellent job to make the hotel high end.

Yes. And it's great. Not sure why that comment.

because myrivers had said it was under construction still
i brought it up because i have fond memories of amistad in its infancy and thats what it was
there was plastic and dust and noise and no one really complained about it
we all just watched it come together and drank beer
there was a lot of madness and laughter
feel free to mind your own business mate

Not really. He's chronologically challenged. His comment reflected a state of being that was incorrect when he made it.

No, I was staying in the renovation-completed Castillo before you said it was still under construction not because it actually was, but "because myrivers had said it was under construction still" (that's a quote). He said that in April.

Matt then posted (in September) that construction was completed (actually finished in August).

You posted after that. Applying myrivers' April comment to September.

You had no first-hand knowledge of the state of the Castillo but were going off myrivers' April comment despite later comments.

You then went on about staying in La Amistad during it's renovation -

Here's what guys. MM3 and La Diablo, you both give a ton of incomparable information to those of us with not so much experience. But I sure do appreciate the comic relief of you guys locking horns. Thanks keep it up. Hardly anyone else posts.
