I just reviewed this place on Tripadvisor. It's a hole in the wall across the street from the train station, within walking distance of the usual Barrio Amon haunts.

Here is my review

I'm giving this place a five bullet point rating not because it's the best place to eat in San Jose, but because it's a cool concept well executed. The food is fabulous. They have sizable burgers with interesting add ons, like queso palmito, a half dozen hand made sauces. There are sandwiches, vegetarian options and my favorite the choripan which was served on a decent brioche type bun. The chorizo is from Guanacaste, very very good and a decent size so for 3,000 colones it was worth it. Comes with rough cut fries (papas rĂºsticas). Also you can wash it down with mainstream sodas or try one of their hand made natural sodas with raw organic sugar, hibiscus or passion fruit or lime or .... Since it's street food you have to eat standing up or stroll to the nearby Parque Nacional.
