I'm really disappointed with the new menu. It's much smaller, more expensive, and just tries to be way too fancy. I won't be eating here much anymore which is kind of sad since I like to stay at The Dunn.

I like to stay there too.
The best compromise for me if I do not want to go far is to cross the street to the new Italien restaurant in the Toarmina called Gattopadia or something like that. It is much more reasonable and good too.
Get a massage from Yoleny too while there.

Will be staying againat the Dunn Inn again in Feb. Noted that the restaurant last March was going down hill back then. The saving grace is that there are plenty of good places to go for food thats in easy walking distance. So, the Dunn restaurant is not a deal breaker for me. Still enjoy the people and service at the hotel. However, maybe in the fall the Hotel Castillo will be reopened by then, anyone think so?

That's what I have been doing. So many more options on the menu and the food is good. Prices are reasonable (For the most part) and the service is great.

I was staying at Dunn Inn, and on Friday evening (about 8:30pm) when an amiga arrived for an appt, we decided to go in and get a drink, and as we sat at the bar, we were informed by the bartender that we were not welcomed. He said the the restaurant was formal (I had jeans and white t-shirt, she had on a dress; looked good, not vulgar in any way, and she looked ok too). So we took our overpriced Coronas into the hotel. Never again.

I had heard that the Alma restaurant were trying to be an exclusive place for the elite of SJ.
They are really mis guided . When I stayed at the Dunn I always went across the street to the very friendly Toarmina.
