Chubbs in Sabana or Escazu is not a bad place if you want to hang out somewhere and practice your Spanish with the locals. It is a completely different dynamic than what one would experience near the Gulch because most of the folks are not jaded by the gringo monger scene. You also can pull non-pro Tica ass if you have half-decent game. 8)
