In Rohrmoser, where there are few dining choices, this is a little gem. Modestly priced house wines and good value wines by the bottle are one of the pluses of Tierra Sur. I've had the sweetbreads, which where very good, the filet mignon with pepper sauce, which was perfectly cooked and excellent. The waitresses are very nice, charming, and attentive. Prices, compared with other a argentine restaurants in San Jose, are much more reasonable. They have a pleasant enclosed patio outside which is just great. Note that they area closeD on Saturdays.

En el bulevar rohrmoser, 250 metros al oeste de la plaza mayor en la plaza La Amistad

Great share, Bro JackieT! From a review Site (includes phone #): https://foursquare.com/v/tierra-sur--re ... 3b57c79221 << Apparently Argentine travelers and embassy staff love it. Autentico. As one commenter said, when you get there, ask for the wine selection in "the cabinet"--special stock for the aware.

Unfortunately, none of the Argentine Restaurants in Costa Rica use Argentine beef.

I disagree. Esquina de Buenos Aires imports certain cuts from the homeland.
