Is there a good place to get a bowl of Pho in San Jose. Preferable, I am looking for something within walking distance of Sportsmans Lodge. |

It's hard finding a decent Chino restaurant in SJ  Not in central but there's a Pho restaurant in Santa Ana. The pho is pretty good at that Santa Ana place. There's another Vietnamese restaurant in Escazu (Vietnamese Coast in Plaza Florencia) operated by some guy from Houston who married a Tica. I have not had pho there (I'm not 100% if it was on the menu…think so), but the food is good. Neither place is close to the gulch. |
