Post subject:  Valle Azul

Valle Azul has good food and of course an amazing view. Even though it's thought of as an Italian restaurant first; I would recommend the lamb or steak instead of the pasta which I found was so so. The setting is very romantic and usually your eating with very few people. However, the restaurant is on the pricey side.

Enjoy!

Good Evening,
Although I'm staying at the SL  and the breakfast last year was very good I wondering if anyone else has any information on places for breakfast? Lunch ideas will be accepted also.
Thanks

Good breakfast, lunch and dinner........LA CROILITTA. As you stand in front of the INS BUILDING looking towards the Del Rey; La Croilitta is on the street in front of the INS BUILDING, 50 yards down the street to your right on the opposite side of the street.

Okay, so where's the INS building - can you be more specific? For that matter, WHAT is the INS building? Do you mean Immigration and Naturalization Service?

INS - Instituto nacional de Seguro which is the government insurance monopoly. The building is in avenida 7 and calle 11.

The restaurant La Crolitta is in avenida 7. From the HDR walk north through Parque Morazan, At avenida 7 turn right and the restaurant is about half a block on the right.

Post subject:  A restaurant next to a river

Has anyone eaten at the Rio Dante restaurant in San Carlos? If so please do tell how it was.

I am looking for a scenic restaurant where I can observe any of the many rivers around the outskirts of San Jose central. If anyone has info on a restaurant next to a river that you can see from your table please let me know.
