One of my clients was telling me the other day that I just had to try Bubba's fish Taco. I am always up for a good fish taco, so I decided to give it a try. Being from Georgia originally and with a restaurant named Bubba's, it seemed right up my alley. I ordered the fried fish taco, loaded. they bring you 5 flavors of Tabasco sauce with different heats for your liking. Service was fast and friendly. The taco was huge and a great value at $8. Barely could finish it and I am a big guy. I went back the next day with my clients. I wanted to try something different on the menu and opted for the burger. I don't usually order burgers in Costa Rica because most places use Tico beef, which has no taste or in my opinion not a good taste. This burger was very tasty and huge. Must be imported beef from Argentina or Chili. Again, I had trouble finishing the burger and fries. $10. Good food and great location watching the waves roll in. I am going to take the girlfriend by there today for another fish taco. Thanks Bubba's

I saw a lot of "fish taco" signs dotting the landscape when I was driving along the central coast two weeks ago. It must have been for this place. I didn't stop, though.

I wonder if that new resort behind it is going to overtake it and turn it into an upscale place.

lots of good memories of cold beers, whole fish and lazy afternoons waiting for the beatle bar to open
