Guys,

I have been to CR 1 time and was for a 20 hour tour, in and out..

this time I am bringing a wingman and we are coming

August 4th (Thursday) get in at Noon Leave on RedEye Early Sunday AM (So no hotel reserved Sat night)

We are staying at the Sportsman's Lodge as it was great last time.

However I am wondering do I have time to make a run to the beach? I am interested in doing another activity.

I am not sure we would have time or could afford to get to Jaco.. Any recommendations?

Thanks

Seth

Assume a 2 hour trip (depending on time of day and traffic). Assume a cost of $50 to $60 each round trip (plus whatever you spend there).

Are you talking a day jaunt? Call the SL about their day tours.

I don't think Jaco is worth the trouble for a quick trip . . . . (or even for a long trip. )

Not worth your effort/cost for less than three days.

If you want a beach visit, Manuel Antonio is a much nicer beach and only an extra hour each way.

Jaco is great but I would go straight there from the airport. With as little time that you have I would either go San Jose or Jaco but only one. Jaco is 1 1/2 hour from the airport while downtown SJ is about 45 minutes. Jaco has better lookin chicas at Hotel Cocal but SL is a very nice hotel.

If money is no object shoot down for the night, pop a couple of cien o cien y fittty babes, supposedly many top hottie's there, stay at the Cocal Hotel, maybe a stay over and early morning pound or two, then head back. If on a budget, stay in San Jose, you'll get more bang for your buck and no long trips...

Combine what Hank said and what Netgems said and you've got the perfect answer. Choose one or the other based on your budget and what you are looking for and go for it!!
