I landed in SJO on March 10. Immigration asked where I just came from and if I had been to Italy Korea or China in past 14 days.

Currently about 15-20 chicas and 10 guys in sportsman. Security makes you sanitize hands before entry. Staff does not shake your hand or hug anymore just elbows.

Didn’t have any issues with chicas from sportsman and Delray still got bbbj and dfk from them. Ymmv

Over all it’s slower than the last time I was here but then again it has only been Tuesday-Thursday so far.

Not Costa Rica...but Colombia. Lots of people on this forum travel there as well. As of yesterday these are the restrictions on travel in to Colombia. Note that travelers from the US are subject to the "High risk measures" part, unless they also fit into the more severe category.

According to Migracion Colombia, this would affect some 24,000 incoming travelers every day.

Unless health officials suspect infection, these visitors will be free to travel. In cases officials do suspect infection, cooperation with subsequent procedures is compulsory and could include self-imposed isolation or hospitalization.

It has amazed me for years all the manufacturing going to China and all the knock offs being sold in the US. It certainly does not take a brain surgeon to figure out the same company that is making the real items is also making the counterfeits. Why not get paid on both sides of the coin when you have not the slightest risk of being civilly or criminally charged. phucking idiot companies giving the technology away to be copied to save a dime but lose a dollar.
