thanks i think you may have posted those places before but the reviews are terrible and it seems pretty seedy
i've been dating a sexy filipina about 15 years younger than me the last 3 years and i'm pretty happy
there are thai women like crazy all over this town
those place look like a pervy creeper type thing
if i can't get laid in this city i'm lame imo
but if i feel like finding a hit and run i'm just going to drive a couple of hours to TJ
might do that next year w all this talking about it lol

TJ is a grinder if you don't know the scene at all so i get it
just takes time and a little effort
i've heard the ******* can be great and used to know a guy that ran a group there and would do charity stuff
his name was sampson and he was a prolific poster and all around nice guy
there's a website tjamigos that has a shit ton of info but the guy who runs it is an ASSHOLE
they have wide open political discussions etc. and people take the gloves off
np for me but after one comment against a guy who literally eats shit(scat is in his name) i was banned for life
i have stayed at the ticuan and its nice but thought they were sort of discouraging our kind there a few years ago
the cascadas rooms are pretty nice w jacuzzis and a nice room and you're right there were ticuan is a 10 minute cab iirc.

i def brought girls from all over to both of those locations and ticuan has a nice bar/food
they have this cleaning stuff down there called fabuloso that has a really unique smell
its imported now and i buy it for my cleaning lady lol

I had no problem with having ******* come to my room at Hotel Ticuan. All they had to do was check in at the front desk....and I wasn't the only one staying there that had ******* coming to his room. The walk from Ticuan to to Zona Norte is not far at all. No need for a taxi or uber. I did it plenty of times and it was completely safe. Of course, I wouldn't do it at night. At night, I would take an uber. You have heard correctly. The ******* can and many of them are great. Personally, I think Tijuana is very underrated. I guess I hope it continues to have a crappy reputation. That way it won't be flooded with gringos driving up the prices such as what has happened in Costa Rica.

And yes, we are in agreement. Speaking Spanish increases the odds that the service will be better.

Just returned for TJ for a quick fix. I can confirm it's still safe for mongering. Stayed at 4 star hotel Lucerna with a nice pool, restaurants, and in a safe area. This is the most upscale place to stay in TJ and rooms run ~ $100/night. They have a new wing called the "K" which is super upscale and would rival any 5 star accommodations anywhere, with personal assistants, amazing rooms, a rooftop bar and sushi restaurant, pool, etc. Cost is about $200/night.

On Tuesday and Wednesday nights (the slow nights), Hong Kong Club, Adelitas and Chicago Club all had plenty of hot chicas with Hong Kong being the best (around 2-300 work there mid-week with ~500 on weekends--its off the hook!). My wingman and I spent both evening mostly at HK and sampled 4 women each (2 per night each). 1st night, I had 2 beautiful spinners, both 19 and the first one got me high in the room upstairs before sex. On the second night, the first girl was total GFE but only about a 7 in looks (compared to the 3 other 9/10's). Cost is $100 for the girl for 1/2hr, + $20 tip (optional) + $18 room, + ficha drinks ($7/ea) + $3 beers + $1-2 tips. Chicago Club had about 80 women and about 6 guys (dont know how that place still stays open), Adelitas had about 100 women and about 50 guys, and HK had about 300 women and about 100+ guys. There were always hotties available, but it would get slow from 11pm-12:30 and would peak again around 2am. By 4am there were still plenty of hot women and a lot less guys--I'd say the ratio at that hour was at least 10 or 15 to 1, chicas versus guys.

During the day, we got legit massages by cute young Latinas for $20! for an hour (+5 tip). At night, we ate dinner at Pampa's (Brazillian steak house) for about $15/ea and Caesars for about $30/ea. Both were great meals.

We didn't do any incalls from the local (GFE) escort agencies that were charging about $125/hr mainly because the girls (pictured) were more voluptuous (but not fat) then we liked.

There were no safety issues. Only time we felt cheated was the cab ride back to the hotel on the first night, we forget to confirm the price with the cabbie and he charged us an extra $4 then he should have.

Border crossing is now on the left side of the freeway. It's a rather stupid process, and Americans get a visitors ticket and passport stamped while Mexican locals walk right through. It maybe takes an extra 15 minutes than it used to. But the return is much improved! No lines at 11:30am...it took us maybe 20 through the old but remodeled border crossing. There is also a brand new border crossing at Richardson avenue that has no lines but it closes from 10pm - 6am.

Overall a fun and productive trip. IMHO, Tijuana is the most underrated mongering destination and the hype about violence is ridiculous given that it seems to isolated to drug/gang-related and those officials determined to stop them. While it's reasonable to assume that some of these folks get their rocks off in the Zona Rosa, it doesn't seem to be the venue for retribution-style killings and the high security presence in the area keeps the local thugs away. Obviously, there are rare exceptions to this, just like in any large city. I highly recommend those who have been scared away by the hype to check it out for yourselves.

Darren, thanks so much for you great report. Although I tend to fly solo, TJ sounds best with a wingman.

I respectfully disagree. I've gone to Tijuana by myself. I had a great time, and plenty of others who have gone by themselves have had similar experiences.

Why Costa Rica? Why now? Costa Rica can be a life changing adventure. It was for me. Not only is it a beautiful country to visit with plenty to see and do, it is a complete change in culture. For a single male traveler it is like going to Disneyland. There are unlimited opportunities to meet beautiful, exciting young women with attitudes completely different from what you are experiencing in the States. You can actually talk to and flirt with women here without fear of offending them. Prostitution here is not illegal. It is not encouraged by the society but it exists and is accepted. It is not a sordid, dirty, illegal experience like it is in the states. To me it is like receiving a service such as a therapeutic massage or having my teeth cleaned. It is no big deal. The women involved usually present better motives than you find in the states. Usually what you find here are women working to provide for their Ch*ldren rather than working to support drug habits. It is easy to find women that merit respect for the sacrifice they make to provide for their families. You thus have opportunities to make friends with benefits relationships. It does not matter if you are socially awkward. The women here want to meet you. It translates to your return home. You will experience a new found confidence when interacting with American women if you so choose. You will know that all you have to do to be with fantastic looking women with great attitudes is to board a plane. I choose not to waste my time there dealing with spoiled entitled American women. Sex does not need to be a reward given to you only if you jump through enough hoops. It should be a mutually pleasurable experience.
From locations like Texas and Florida it is possible to get round trip flights into San Jose for $400 and less. It takes a little over three hours to get here. A considerable portion of the population here speaks some English and the dollar is readily accepted. There are literally thousands of women here available for play for pay. There are unlimited women available for conventional relationships. Whatever works for you. Costa Rica is unique in that it is easy to find like minded travelers who accept you for who you are. Thus this forum gives you opportunities to learn what is available and to hook up with fellow adventurers. The sooner you make the decision to come down the sooner your life will change.

Wow! sixth time in nine months?!?!?! I must say I'm a little jealous of your ability to travel so frequently. In all seriousness, how are you able to do that? Do you live near an airport with direct flights to San Jose? Are you rich? Are you retired? Both? Again, these are sincere questions. No sarcasm or mocking intended.

I am a recovering workaholic, small business owner in central Fla.
I ran out of good (barely tolerable, but crazy -hot) sugar Babi*s and went to greener pastures of milk and honey , truly a single mans paradise.
I leave on Wednesdays at 8:50 am return Sunday at 4pm , it's less than 3 hour flight and cost as little as $196 Spirit or a high of $350 Jetblue , usually around $250.00.
I stay at Sportsman Pasion room $75 or Taormina (inexpensive, nice, and boring),but this time splurged on Hotel Castillo all inclusive with free transport from hotel to airport.

Post subject:  Re: Why Costa Rica? Why now?

Just looked back on this thread I started awhile ago. Since then I have done more serious traveling here in Costa Rica. I have enjoyed more of the national parks and beautiful locations close to San Jose available for day trips. Waterfalls, hot springs, zip lines, atv, horseback, volcanos, fishing, white water rafting, are all within a few hours of downtown San Jose. On several of these trips I have been accompanied by beautiful young ladies. For them it was the first opportunity to visit these locations in their lives. I took one of my favorites to La Paz Waterfall Gardens a few weeks ago. She is in her early 30s and never had the chance to see this beautiful place. It is only an hour and a half from San Jose. Costa Rica is a small country but it is loaded with interesting things to see. Moving here is a personal decision that should be given much thought before attempting. Coming here and enjoying another culture is another matter. Most of the people on this board have been here. Anyone just discovering this board should take note. Opportunity exists here that will change your life perspective. Nobody should go through life sexually frustrated. Prostitution exists here and offers an easy way to relieve frustration but the different attitude of this culture can open your eyes to a different life. Costa Ricans are less materialistic and more into enjoying life. If all you learn from a visit here is enjoy today because tomorrow isn't guaranteed your life can change drastically. I cannot adequately describe the opportunities I have had to meet not just beautiful young women here but to meet women who have great quality of character. My life is better for these experiences.

One mistake mongers make is that they come for the putas and never see the real CR. That’s their choice. Just returned from 10 days in Guanacaste With my young girlfriend and enjoyed some of the beauties of nature. Zero tourists. Get out of the SL! (When you get back.)
