LOL! Look, I'm headed to TJ in 9 days for a mini trip. I'll report back on the apparent dangers. But my experience from 2001-2016 with dozens of trips under my belt was that the risks for American tourists were greatly exaggerated. TJ has always gotten a bad rap and frankly, if it wasn't for myRedbook and the many first-hand trip reports, I would have stayed away. I have mongered all over the world and still believe that TJ, while ugly, & smelly, has a lot to offer in the way of mongering. And while the waiters at places like Hong Kong are pushy in terms of peddling drinks (some might say overly attentive), they have never cheated me with change and have always been willing to help me out for a small tip. The biggest problem I've had over the years was having to pay a mordida (bribe) once for no apparently reason but that was at the height of the problem and apparently its not wide spread any more.

So after I sleep in a nice 4 star hotel, have a first class dinner at Caesars restaurant, Phuck a few 20 year old chicas at Hong Kong, get a $25 legit 1hr massage, and a bang a GFE escort in my hotel room, I'll report back if I encounter any dangers. But I doubt it has suddenly become the hellhole your tour leader once led you to believe it was.

Note: Cargo shorts are not cool in TJ either.

Maybe we should get together a zoocrew trip down there with all the above interested CRT posters for first hand reconnaissance and general debauchery.

At the HDR or SL you can talk to as many chicas as you like at your leisure, if you want you can buy them a drink, . At TJ's Hong Kong club you can't even sit down with a chica without a coaster and $8 drink coming down in about 10 seconds.

Don't expect a GFE, and don't drink the water.

you can get GFE if you work it but like anywhere else it takes time
most of the HK experience is point and shoot w rules etc
but i've gotten great sessions in the morning before the big crowds arrive
almost always try to plan a trip there to arrive Wed and leave before the weekend but i live in LA

if you are down there walk around and go to the other clubs even if its just adelita, tropical etc
thats the experience and the people there know how to handle you if act like you've been there before
oh and the taco carts are phucking spectacular
if you walk out the front door of HK and turn left and go to the end of the street there it is
same folks have been there for decades it seems
spinning meat spit and a giant crowd of mexicans surrounding it you can't miss it
they pass those things out and people eat and pay after

I went to TJ for the first time last Christmas. I just completed my fourth trip to Costa Rica. I thought I had preferred CR to Tijuana, but after seeing what has become of the scene in Costa Rica, I'm not sure why I'd continue to go there when Tijuana is much cheaper and easier to get to., and closer.

I'm not a fan of Hong Kong's in Tijuana, but there are other clubs. Also, the escort agencies in Tijauana tend to be really good and you will get guaranteed girlfriend experience with them. Can't say that about a lot of the girls in Costa Rica. Also, TJ has tons of hot girls on the streets, starting at around $20 dollars. They upsell for various extras, but it's still cheaper than a lot of girls in Costa Rica. Also, I am seeing tons of great looking talent on Skokka and mileserotico for Tijauana.

Like Costa Rica, it's helps to speak Spanish. Tijuana in my opinion is no more dangerous than San Jose. If you are not a drug dealer, are respectful, don't talk shit, and don't walk around drunk, odds are that you will be safe. Watch your back and stay in a classy hotel. Someone here mentioned the Hotel Ticuan. That's a good choice. I personally would recommend it.

Considering the state of Costa Rica and the way the scene there has deteriorated, why go through the trouble of going there when for many American guys, Tijuana is much closer?

Also, Tijuana is MUCH cheaper than Costa Rica, but then again, what place isn't?

but if you speak some spanish and let them know you are not new to this they will generally give you respect
TJ is a grinder if you don't know the scene at all so i get it

there's a website tjamigos that has a shit ton of info but the guy who runs it is an ASSHOLE
they have wide open political discussions etc. and people take the gloves off
np for me but after one comment against a guy who literally eats shit(scat is in his name) i was banned for life
i have stayed at the ticuan and its nice but thought they were sort of discouraging our kind there a few years ago
the cascadas rooms are pretty nice w jacuzzis and a nice room and you're right there were ticuan is a 10 minute cab iirc.
i def brought girls from all over to both of those locations and ticuan has a nice bar/food
they have this cleaning stuff down there called fabuloso that has a really unique smell
its imported now and i buy it for my cleaning lady lol

You in L.A.? I lived in L.A. from late 80's to mid 90's in my mid to late 30's, First stop, close to UCLA, Santa Monica, then miraculously found an affordable (for L.A.) apartment in Bel-Air off Roscomare Road, now torn down, expensive townhomes replaced old apartment building, then moved to Newport Beach, then Long Beach, then returned to Florida when my job assignment came to a close there.

I was initially married and got divorced there, found these places worthwhile until I got situated and started dating again, then still occasionally found my way back some nights.

Met many a hottie who would deliver right there lots of goodies and agree to meet me at my home another time, I say well worth it and no need to drive all the way to Tijuana and spend extra money on hotels. I've done both, classier more intelligent women here, right at home!

Lots of hot white women who came to Hollywood to become a star, hot European and Eastern European, some Asian, so if you want to take a vaca from Latin women, here's your chance, and of course plenty Latin women as well.
