Just to clear a few things ...I have never touched the popcorn at zona2 .....and to add I caught the bartender stealing 1000c , bought 2 girls a beer paid for them and waited for my change , looks like the management is making the bartenders hand you a receipt with your change .....anyway as I looked at my change ...sure enough she short changed me 1000c ....
So I call her out , a different bartender sees me looking for her and asks is something wrong ? I said yeah...your friend needs to come over and explain why she decided to steal 1000c from me.....the look on her face said it all ( not all gringos are stupid....
Original bartender comes over and says what is the problem ? I said I caught you stealing and you owe me 1000c ....with her smart ass voice she says sorry I made a mistake....I said no you got caught...

Why didn't you just say I think you made a mistake with the change, rather then accuse them of stealing from you?

Because he is just telling it like it is. These girls know how to make correct change and some of them are just trying to get away with all they can.

Same trip ......bartender owes me 7000 .....makes me wait over 20 mins... ( I am thinking she has given someone else to get the change) after the 20 mins ,,, I speak up and demand she gets the change,,,, she walks back and pulls it out of the same cash drawer she put it in.....if you treat every bartender at the del rey as a thief ..your chances of getting taken will decrease.....
I enjoy my stay ( last 3 trips) but the way they try to scam us gets ridiculous.....they really think of us as drunken fools who dont check for change or what they are charging ,,,,, its to the point now I ask for the price before I have them make my drink (s)

Just a beer update. At Scores we have a large selection.
All national beers Pilsen, Imperial , light and silver also Bavaria light. Then we also have Miller Light and Coors light as well as Grolsch in the big bottles with white pop caps . As well as Guinness plus we are trying out selling Budweiser right now to see how that goes. Plus always try to stick a few cans of a NON alch. Beer in the cooler. And except when the coolers are restocked are cooler are set at super cold !

Yes...way to go Jeff! I could never understand why, especially in the Gulch, with such a large percentage of
Gringo patrons, the bars serve the beer so warm. And they wonder why many customers put ice in their beer

Last week I ordered a cocktail @ the DR from a bartender named Tracy. She brought the drink, after much discussion with an associate of the finer points of making a rum & coke. I paid with a 10k note, she returned with the change fairly rapidly. I stood there, sipping my drink, surveying the scene, not yet touching the change. She then said to me "where's my tip", I laughed & said nothing, dismissed her with a wave of the hand, Picked up my change & returned to meeting the right chica!
