I need to have an eyelid lift (medical term Blepharoplasty) my drooping lids are effecting my vision and I am no longer correctable to 20/20. I am considering having the procedure done in CR. Looking for recommendations for a surgeon. Appreciate any advice the members can share especially if you have first hand experience with a doctor or clinic.

From what I hear, the quality of the work in CR has been declining recently due to having so many medical tourists, that they don't give you the same level of care as in the past. Frankly, they just don't give a shit any more. While it may be cheaper, I wouldn't go under the knife in CR unless it was life or death.

This guy is the owner of a strip club in Medellin (Liquid Lounge). He got his eyes done down there. You might want to reach out to him now that some time has passed. He used to post on here. I think his handle is AV8R

Medellin has a huge plastic surgery industry. This is why you see so many big boobs in Medellin

When it comes to your eyes I would go to the best I could find in the USA. Even if I only had 30 days to live, I'd rather my eyes be working pretty good. Also, I think this is a delicate operation and could come out wrong if the doctor isn't top notch.

I had blepharoplasty surgery done to remove the fat bags under my eyes in Costa Rica back in 2010. The cost at the time was $1200 for the procedure and $50 for an EKG. I had the procedure done at Rosenstock and Lieberman. The surgeon who worked on me is Dr Joseph Cohen. I personally was pleased by the level of service and the results. One downfall was no sexo for a few days following the surgery :(
