VB...is it still on the top floor? Is it just being re-opened? I haven't been there in many years. They used to have a fantastic free buffet one night a week (Fridays?). They also used to have a craps table, which was usually dead...no one playing.

I peeked in about a week ago and it looked nice from what I could see.

It is on the first floor to the left if you are facing the front of the HI.

As Seabreeze said the entrance is on the left side as you are facing the hotel. The actual casino is in a totally new 2 story addition which was added to the back along side calle 5. It is another "Fiesta" casino!

No craps table, but very nice and knockout bartenders--slots-black jack-tute--big tv for sports and live bands at times

Checked out the new casino yesterday. Blackjack tables, and a rummy table were going at 2 in the afternoon. Lots of new-fangled slot machines. Nice bar area in the middle. Converted dollars to colones and the cashier gave me the bank rate. Did not see any poker action.
