Made a reservation for Dec. Anyone stay here with comments? I tried to book thru the website posted in Discounts and got nowhere with email or phone number. Just wondering if they honor CRT and no chica fee.
Thanks in advance

I stayed there many years ago, probably like in 2007. Nice hotel, walk to beach but they had 10$ chica fee

Cadillac has gone under reservation, best deal in all Of Jaco, it you a CRT Vip and like the Beetle Bar! Getting to Cocall very easy, cheap taxi's or easy walk, can do on beach, and yes I walk through the little river on beach to get to Cocall side, I am not impressed by San Jose at all, and while Jaco is somewhat more expensive, 50.00 a night with no joiner fees @ Cadillac across from the Ocean, just a small walk down a block to it..No better deal in Jaco.
AS for getting their, Just go to the Cadillac Bus Station, and ride bus back in forth, easy and about 5.00 each way.
Seriously, no trouble, just make sure your suitcase goes up into the back under the Bus, or pay for an extra Bus ticket and you can have it right on the bus in the seat next to you.

I will come back to Costa Rica again, been there 3 out of 4 months this fall. San Jose at most a one night if I come in late, which I do...everytime. I just get a hotel in the middle, I always take care the next day, by going to the Bank to pay my exit fee of 29.00. So I don't have to worry about it when leaving. Then, Cadillac Bus every time.
150. each way to Jaco is Crazy...Nothing to worry about, I hear some on here who are fear mongers, Why, I take Public transportation in Thailand, and the Philippiness, now, Costa Rica. Yet as an expat...never had a problem except with language and that can be always worked out with persistence and asking other people to help.

I haven't seen Cadillac Rock undergo any renovations lately more than outward cosmetics. Rooms are spacious but very basic. My main problem with recommending them for more than an hourly motel is the lack of security. I still think Hotel Poseidon is the best 'budget' place in Jaco for the monger crowd.

Every report I hear, last coming from a client yesterday, was there are almost no girls at Beetle Bar. I know the several times I've gone in, I haven't seen any. Right now, Cocal is number one followed by Le Loft, Orange Pub then late night Monkey Bar.

The old Purple Haze has reopened but it is being advertised as a discotheque not a strip club. Been hearing the Croc Casino (only, not the rest of it) may open very soon with a full opening of the rest in Feb or March.

Bus to Jaco is for sure cheap but it can be long, hot and just a miserable ride. I wouldn't really say it was dangerous. I would say a pirate taxi or any driver you don't know is more dangerous than the buses. If you are coming from downtown San Jose, best bet is the Amistad shuttle. If you come in late, only option is taxis or private transport like me. The real orange taxis are quoting $120 to Jaco, I do it for $100 and have heard offers from pirates of $80.

Quality in Jaco is still as good as ever...and expected to get even better as fishing/high season get here.

PVT. you are a real pro. You give all the options, even if they are charge less than you and you tell it like it is.

A lot of people have experienced the same problem. As far as I know, the do not honor the CRT card but does the O.L.D. VIP discount card. When booking through me, I can get them 15-20% discount on their rooms. They have no chica fees and great food to be had in their restaurant. Also, a pretty good sports bar up top and you can even place a bet if you so desire.
