Due to popular demand Hotel Amistad has decided to continue all inclusive rates, and expand its restaurant menu. Guests who book the special rate receive their choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner for no additional change. Also included are beer, wine, sodas and well drinks. Top shelf liquor is provided at a 50 percent discount.

All inclusive guests also receive free transfers to and from Jacó Beach and drop off to the airport (requires minimum 4 night stay).

As always, all hotel guests receive free laundry service and long distance. There is never a fee for additional guests at Hotel Amistad.

All Inclusive Rates for 2015
Penthouse $134
Suite $114
King Room $104
Queen Room $94

You can't beat the all inclusive package. The food is great and drink specials hit the spot. Can't wait until I visit again in February.

I had lunch at the Amistad on Sunday. I went with the Surf and Turf special. $10.

I can honestly say that it was one of the best meals that I've had in CR, especially if you consider value as part of it. It comes with a nice portion of beef (and not the typical rough CR beef, it was US quality), I think she said some mahi mahi, and a few shrimp all over mashed potatoes, vegetables, and a decent sized side salad with your choice of dressing. And then they bring you a dessert (brownie with ice cream over it). I was stuffed. And with a drink, the bill was less than ¢8,000. :D

I'm gonna try to lunch or dinner there again today, to try something else.

On Monday night, I had the Hot Roast Beef sandwich there. Comes with gravy and a very tasty white horseradish sauce inside and fries. Another great meal. The price also wasn't bad (under $10).

I know The restaurant has been getting good reviews for a while, but for me it's a new find. This place is going to be my regular dining place in San Jose going forward.

Other guests that are less than four nights have the option to pay $37.50 round trip. Leaving Hotel Amistad at 10 am and Leaving Jaco at 12 PM.
