Yep, I've heard the refrigerator, cell phone, dentist, doctor bs.. I don't mean to be heartless, but I either block them or ignore them. I might have been born at night, but not last night! move on to the next one.

A "novia" is a girlfriend for normal people.

Yes,yes, of course, beautiful girls in their mid 20's just love doddering old farting mongers who go "oooof" every time they get up from their chairs, the girls especially love the older mongers who are overweight, have bad teeth, bad breath, tell excruciatingly boring stories repeatedly and drink heavily every day... :shock:

But she told me (in Spanish) that I was 'special' and that I was 'different' from the others (more blind/stupid??) How could such a 'perfect situation' burn to the ground so fast? I thought that if I had 'good intentions'.. I would be living eternally 'happily ever after'. And gosh darn it.. I REALY WANTED SO MUCH TO BELIEVE HER!____ WAKE THE FUC*K UP DUMBASS!! (if life was really that simple.. don't you think we would all have it 'dicked' by now?)

If you have a 'normal' life outside of the micro-universe of the downtown gringo world, you may find a girlfriend that cares about you. The culture doesn't age-discriminate, and the ladies are quite pragmatic,, and are especially aware of what you bring to the table financially.

I know many non mongers or reluctant mongers found real novias outside of San Jose, usually women still at least moderately attractive in their 40's and up, with some type of job the guy may have been involved with, but guys, trust me on this one, YOU ain't special to the working girls here. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I have a main hovia and several runners up, all "friends" and good "friendships" as long as the USA green is involved, I could be stupid but I'm not a fool, I realize it's a business relationship, and if the green wasn't growing here, when they visit, they'll find greener pastures, lol.

An envious friend in the USA once told me "Them hoz will leave you if you stop paying them!"

To which I replied; "Quit your job, lose your paycheck, hang out at your house working on your car and wathing TV, see how long YOUR WIFE sticks around, lol.... :mrgreen:
