Been thinking of coming down to visit during Halloween for a while and was wondering what kind of a reaction the chicas and locals may have to a 6 foot tall grim reaper, with scythe walking down the street and into a establishment? Been wanting to try such a costume for a while

If you make the scythe out of heavy cardboard, you shouldn't have any problems with anybody, not even the policia.

I was more worried about scaring the chicas to run for the hills so to speak and having trouble with security not letting me in, etc. I know everyone has a unique costume but don't want to find out the hard way what is considered too much.

I find that costumes get in the way of my fun. I let the girls dress up, which they do in spades. Guys not so much in CR, not like the states where men and women dress up.

I'm coming down for my 1st Halloween and I'm going to be Elfego Baca - Yes, Zorro and the only problem I have is I don't think I can get on the plane with a sword or a whip, so I'll have to make something up out of cardboard to make my costume character real - Grim Reaper and I should be a pair to draw to!
