I'm making my first trip at the end of August and I had a question about theft and chica-proofing your room.

Do you have to lock up everything (even the most insignificant items) like you do in Costa Rica?

How about bringing chicas back from Mayorista?

gracias.

Whenever you bring a strange chica (or one you barely know) into your room, it makes sense to chica-proof your room wherever you are in this world. This applies to both "pros" & "non-pros."

Well said Blue Devil. Even in a "protected atmosphere" like Casa Blanca 1 & 2 there are no guarantees.

Even in those rooms at clubs like Luna, I had a girl who when I laid back to relax was tyring to get into my jeans to take money out while blowin me. You always have to be aware of whats going on! Always! Some girls are really sweet and its a shame to take such precautions, but its necessary.

Always chica proof everything you need and want to keep, why give anyone any reason to steal.

Good advice from BD. Always put your stuff up. I was pretty comfortable with a chica I brought back to the apartment and I learned a lesson the hard way when she left with my digital camera. I should have locked it up but I made a biiiiiiig mistake in "trusting" her. You live and you learn. Good luck!

Hey, does anyone have contact info for casa blanca (the mansion)? Thanks to the advice of this board, I'll also be making my first trip to MDE in August, and want to get a reservation. I emailed info@hotelcasablancamedellin.com a few days ago but haven't heard back, and just shot them another email this morning.

Thanks

Call their USA phone number.. weekdays, 9-5 is the best and fastest way to get a hold of them.

Last time chica ran off with my cell phone and the 40k I had in my pocket while I was sleeping.. Granted she didn't take my very expensive camera. I learned my lesson and chica proofing everything. Even the phone I use will be cheap (you can't lock that up!)

thats what I loved about staying at the Castillo. You have to let them out!!!

It sucks for TLN, because all MDE Chicas have to leave super early and you have to wake up and let her out. But it is great if she is a cat burgler and has to wake you up before she is off into the night

ALWAYS chica proof you room. No matter if it is regular or a self proclaimed novia. and especially if you have a street skank from mayorista

How much did you pay her for the TLN?

150k.. She isn't a pro.. Maybe semi.. She's the sister of a pro that I found through the pro's friend's list on a social networking site.

So you paid her first and then she stole your money? Sounds like a pro thief.
