Just wondering what the current status of the place is, and if it's still good. Also, I know where it is, basically, but don't know the correct SJO-type directions to use. Can anyone help with that?

If you mean "L'Olivo" Italian restaurant in Sabana Norte, it is 300 mts north of ICE , Sabana Norte. Tels: 22-32-94-40 and 22 20-20-96

This is a great Italian restaurant. It is next to the Casino in Hotel Christina. Look for the subway restraurant and take the street next to it back about 3 blocks.

It's still awesome, with great wine and ambiance, however it's a date or couples gig, as there is really no single action and only a few seats at the bar. My spanish is Ok but I think they have bilingual waitstaff. 8)
