Yes, the owner of chubbs is a friend of mine. However the Philly cheesesteak is fantastic and I eat it everytime I am there. Nothing wrong with speaking the truth for a pal.
Then please tell the owner for me, that his gringo food is overpriced, his onion rings are undercooked, but his bucket beer prices are just right.
He says thanks for your input, prices will stay the same (because NOT Expensive) and onion rings are great. And I say I agree. I'm curious as what is expensive? Also, 9 monster flat screens with 3 different states feeds. You won't get that anywhere else. I'll be down there Sunday night, and I believe the main man will be there as well. Come on down and let him know what you think.
Au coutaire; the onion rings I received were undercooked and greasy, although admittadly, onion rings are greasy as a rule. I reviewed the entire menu and noticed pretty much gringo pricing on the food that is why I decided on a relatively inexpensive item, but I did notice that a bucket of beer was competitively priced, but if he thinks he is competitive with the local gringo watering holes because of the flat screens then have at it. I have sampled the place and would probably return if it happened to be Sunday and the NE Pats were playing. Cheers.
